A little bit about you & what inspired you to start sharing your home décor journey on social media?

“I am a busy mum of three little ones, and I wanted to show that you can still have a beautiful aesthetic home whilst raising kids, You don't always have to compromise on style and be slapped in the face with rainbow decor every time you're at home just because you've got kids.”

Your number 1 styling tip/s for styling a rug to achieve a cohesive look:

“I feel like when styling a room, less is almost always more, I tend to go with neutral shades and focus on playing around with and incorporating multiple textures, rather than overdoing it with too many different colours and patterns/designs.”

Why did you chose this particular rug/s, how did you style it, and do you have any advice for others when selecting a rug for their home?

“I chose the BELLA in natural as I felt like it was the perfect neutral piece for my master bedroom. It was still going to brighten up the room, yet to be easy enough to clean and hide any marks and scuffs from the kids.

Once again, I tried to go with the less is more approach considering I already have quite a detailed green toned wallpaper, I thought that keeping the rug on the more simple side would be the best option so that everything flowed cohesively.”

Your number 1 styling tip/s for styling a rug to achieve a cohesive look:
“When selecting a rug for your home my tips are to consider both its functionality and how it cohesively blends into your overall design aesthetic. Opt for a Wild Yarn rug that complements your existing décor while adding visual interest to the space to ensure all elements harmonise effortlessly.”
Why did you chose this particular rug/s, how did you style it, and do you have any advice for others when selecting a rug for their home?
“Selecting the Wild Yarn Byron Beige Wool Rug was an easy choice for me due to its blend of functional durability and simplistic design which effortlessly enhances our bright and airy living room. To infuse our living area with a breezy coastal charm, I styled the Byron rug with a mix of lively striped cushions and lush greenery to create a space that invites both relaxation and rejuvenation into our home.”

A little bit about you & what inspired you to start sharing your home décor journey on social media?
“I'm Anne-Marie, I've lived on the beautiful Sunshine Coast since the day I was born. Mumma to two beautiful boys. I started sharing my home on social media as a creative outlet from my normal daily life, and quickly realized it was a huge passion.”
Your number 1 styling tip/s for styling a rug to achieve a cohesive look:
“Your rug doesn't need to blend into your room, but getting inspiration from your surroundings and adding those elements into your rug is key to creating a cohesive look. Look around at your decor and furnishings for colour and texture to tie into your rug to create a cohesive look.”
Why did you chose this particular rug/s, how did you style it, and do you have any advice for others when selecting a rug for their home?

“I chose the Byron Rust for our dining to create a warm, cozy family space. As our kitchen, living and dining is open plan, adding this rug has defined the space without walls and created warmth through the colour and texture.

We also added The Astro Ivory to our upstairs living. We opted for no permanent carpets in our home, as an easier option to keep clean and dust free with rugs. So defining this space with a warm white, looped rug has created a lighter, brighter space to break up the timber floors and give a neutral base for evolving colours and decor as time goes on.”
