At Wild Yarn, we do our best to ensure all product details, colours, and sizing are represented as accurately as possible. Please allow for slight size variations of approximately +/-5%. For handmade rugs and folded rug collections, variations may be up to 10%.
Some of our rugs are handmade using beautiful natural fibres such as wool. Because of this, each piece may have its own unique character. You may notice small details such as sprouting yarns, subtle colour variations, natural fibre markings, or small materials within the weave. These are not considered faults, but rather part of the charm and craftsmanship of a handmade rug.
Natural fibre rugs may also shed, especially when new. To care for your rug, we recommend vacuuming gently using suction only, without a brush or rotating head.
Important Tip: We recommend using an anti-slip rug pad, such as RugStop, underneath your rug. This helps prevent movement and adds extra comfort and protection.
Please Note: Rug colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting, and device settings. We make every effort to show our rug colours as accurately as possible, but minor colour variations may occur.
Product Care
Please attend to spills as quickly as possible to reduce the chance of staining. Avoid rubbing the spill, as this can push it deeper into the fibres. Instead, gently blot the area using a dry, absorbent white cloth or white paper towel.
For most spills, a mild detergent with lukewarm water may be used. For heavier or more difficult spills, we recommend seeking professional cleaning advice.
To keep your rug looking its best, we suggest professional cleaning every 6 to 12 months and rotating the rug regularly to help even out wear and fading.
